Current Systems

The current systems are based on different levels of information:

Mapping Data offers basic road locations but offers no current further data.

Static Data gives a view of the street signs, speed limits, number and types of lanes, and signals on a road but offers no information about traffic flow.

Dynamic Data reports what is happening on the roadway such as roadwork, rush hour, crashes or congestion. This often comes from smartphone users, built-in locators on fleet and truck vehicles, or traffic reports. Dynamic data offers information of general movement on the road.

Metro-Tech is the first to offer accurate, real-time, lane-level directional data.
